Definitely use this a lot when racking mead. Very effective and has a bottom piece that prevents it from resting on the floor of the carboy and sucking up nasty stuff. Note, it won't go into some carboys that have a thinner opening. I have two it won't fit into.

Product works as described. Only slight inconvenience would be if the opening to whatever container you are trying to use it for is not large enough to insert end of pump into it, as it does not have a hose on the other end. BUT easy solution was a rubber grommet and excess hose I had laying around. I actually used it to Siphon coolant from My radiator on my car. Easy to assemble and disassemble and easy to clean

Works fine. I use mine for moving cleaning products to other bottles to avoid a mess. Cant go wrong for the price.

Package was open from factory and the missing critical part (filter cap for the bottom of tube) was not inside the manufacturer packaging or the Amazon pack. Have contacted manufacturer as directed. Will update.

The actual siphon works fine, but to save on shipping they kink the hose, which never goes away and causes pressure issues. Actively caused aeration to my mead. Unless you plan to replace the hpse it comes with, dont get this

This is the perfect size for me since I'm using it for 1 gallon containers. Anything larger than that I feel this won't reach well. There is a bit of a learning curve to these if you haven't used one before, but it performs as it should. Feels well made and siphons as one would expect.

The hose is inflexible and arrived bent in half, destroying it. I thought about cutting it somehow, but the end isn't the correct size for the siphon so it doesn't attach anyway. The seller should be embarrassed to have this listed.

Don't need to say much, I can't even use it. The black cap is so large, it doesn't fit pass the neck of the car boy. Avoid.
