Great set of yarn for rug tufting. The yarn itself is very nice quality and the colors are rich. The assorted colors gives a lot of possibilities.

I recently ordered 16PCS Tufting Yarn for Rug Making, Acrylic Carpet Yarn for Tufting, Cut &Loop Yarn Kit, and Perfect Tufting Yarn Beginner Kit for Adults and Kids as I am a beginner at rug making. I loved that you get 16 different color yarns which is perfect if you are making something small like a pillow covering. Not so great if you are making a rug. The yarn itself is soft and durable. Worked well with my tufting gun - just need to go slow. It would be a great kit for crocheting animals or other small items.

This yarn is a really nice assortment of colors. There is a pretty good size ball of each color, but if you were making a full size rug you would clearly need more than is provided. I would consider this a "Sampler" of different colors. The yarn is pretty strong, and the colors are nice and vibrant. There wasn't any small that I noticed in the yarn, which is more than I can say about other brands. Overall, I am happy with this yarn and look forward to using it for an upcoming project!

Product received for free as apart of Amazon vine.The balls of yarn were smaller than I was expecting but they went surprisingly far. I used and entire ball and some of a two others to make a little decor rug! It was super easy to work with and surprisingly soft.

I got this yarn for crocheting. My grandmother started to teach me to crochet when I was a child, but she passed away when I was only nine years old, and I'd only learned 4 stitches at that point. Thanks to YouTube tutorials I'm getting back into the hobby after more than 40 years. So, at the moment you should take anything I say as if it were coming from a complete novice.This yarn is very soft but also seems quite sturdy. The colors are brilliant and beautiful. It works easily with a four-millimeter crochet hook and doesn't split much. I like it a lot, but I wish the skeins were bigger. I think it will be nice for color work on small items like individual Granny squares to be assembled into a larger project or for small amigurumi projects.

I really like this yarn for colors because no two colors are alike. I like that the colors are very vibrant. It is as described but more of a craft yarn than a rug yarn. I have done rugs and this yarn would be great for color just not heavy enough to be used for a rug. Also there are no tags on each ball to know the amount of yarn in the ball. That makes it hard to plan any project. But each ball looks to be enough to do a placemat maybe. I also can’t speak for color fastness for Laundering either. Usually rug yarn is wool. This is acrylic yarn and it is very stretchable. I ordered it for crocheting a rug and for the colors. But I’m going to have to make a test swatch to launder first. It is 4 ply acrylic yarn. It is a good Value for the price. I give it 3 out of 5 stars because of no labeling of fiber content or color fastness for laundering. It’s really concerning having no way to know the quantity in each ball.

I ordered these skeins of yarn in multicolors to have extra for rug making projects. All in all, the yarns included in this 16 pack are beautiful, bright vibrant colors of very soft acrylic yarn.But, the amount is nowhere near what is stated in the listing.They state that their roughly baseball sized skeins have 1470 yards (pic) - that’s over 8/10ths of a mile. That’s a lot of yarn for 17 grams. To provide an accurate review and not just guess, I pulled a random skein out of the bag and actually measured, five feet at a time. Grand total: 1698 inches, 141.5 feet, or just over 47 yards. Even multiplying that 47 yards to include all 16 skeins included in the pack, it still comes up to 754.6 yards - barely halfway to the 1470 yards stated, so I’m not sure where they came up with that number. Don’t get me wrong, though, for the selling price I actually wasn’t expecting anywhere near 15 total miles of yarn, but it should be correctly advertised.Also noted was the lack of any type of manufacturer color coding in case we’d want to order more of any particular colors for larger projects. I would absolutely recommend to the manufacturer adding these.Overall, it’s a neat little multipack, with emphasis on the little. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the yarns are soft and seem to be good quality. What’s included is actually quite nice, and would be a great starter pack for beginners, just be aware of the yardage discrepancy. Still recommended with four stars!
