Really nice set! A variety of screwdrivers and tweezers is so helpful when digging out threads from feed dogs and from the depths of beneath the face plate of your machine. I like the spoolies for more detailed brushing out of lint. The longer arm of the brush is also nice to be able to access deeper into the machine to usher out bits of lint. Finally: I fully appreciate the extra seam rippers, as the old adage goes: TO SEW IS TO SEAM RIP :DAll inside a handy case which is large enough to fit some of the extra brushes that I have to clean out my machine.

I have four sewing machines and a serger, so am always using most of the tools in this handy little kit. I do like having the little clear plastic box to keep everything organized and in a single spot.I use the larger screw driver with a white handle to change needles and to screw/unscrew the ankle when I’m switching from regular snap-on feet to the walking foot. I have several small crew drivers like this, but can never find one when I need it! The small white screw driver might be good with a machine that was built different from mine, but I won’t use it with any of my machines.I’ve grown really fond of the silicone brushes. Especially the purple one with the round head. The silicone brush heads are bendy, so can get into tiny spaces between parts and easily remove all the lint and thread.The short fat screw drivers are okay for removing the needle plate, but a little awkward if you have adult-sized hands. I prefer using the thin flat silver screw drivers on those.I only have one machine I have to use needle threaders on, but do like using both kinds of threaders that come in this kit.The small seam rippers might be okay in a pinch, but I normally use a much larger seam ripper since they are easier to hold on to. Again, the adult-sized hands thing.Every machine I have came with one of those large white double-ended brushes with the firm bristles. I’ve never used one though because I’m clueless as to what you would do with them.

I know this is fairly inexpensive, so expectations shouldn't be very high, but this is junk.Poor quality tools (?) are tossed in a container with no dividers so it ends up looking like the unorganized miscellaneous drawer in my kitchen. Once you open the individual bags, the tools are just loose in the box (which doesn't latch very well) and you can't keep them straight even if you did want to use them. Which you probably won't..I think you would be better off finding some decent quality tools that won't damage your sewing machine and skipping this.

This 17 pieces of this value priced sewing machine maintenance kit includes the plastic case as one of those 17 pieces. All of the screwdriver ends are thin but ok, half the thickness of the screw slots on my sewing machine but, still work well enough to complete their function. The stubby screwdrivers work best as they are easy to hold from the side under the tight space of the sewing machine head. The large broom look brush head tilts slightly I assume, to get in at a better angle, is quite a bit too large but, the other end reminds me of a toilet brush and am not sure how to use it. The tweezers are thicker and stronger than expected and good for reaching and grabbing pesky bits that can't be brushed out but, aren't texturized for better grip. The mascara silicone head like wands grap dust bunnies and pull them out quite well but, are stiff and inflexible. The thumb screwdrivers are somewhat hard to hold and turn at the same time. The needle threaders are only good for standard sewing thread and seem to take a good strong pull to get thread through the eye of a needle. The white screw drivers are the standard old style sewing machine screwdrivers which, seem too tall to work well with my machine. The seam rippers are small, do the job but, one on the caps won't stay on, which is a functional handle and, I am used to a much larger seam ripper. Overall, this is a value priced set and with a few of these tools I am able to clean my machine adequately.

This is a great kit to keep your sewing machine in top running order. The only thing I would have included is a felt or microfiber rag to wipe down the machine. I thought about whether a vial of sewing machine oil, which is essential to a well running machine, would be appropriate, but nowadays, since sewing machines are made needing different grades of machine oil, that would be an item I'd need to add to this kit myself. I do love and use most of the tools included with this kit and how handy they can be kept in their clear plastic box. While I still use the old fashioned brush every day to clean out lint and debris, I really love the new silicone tools to get into those tiny crevices where thread lint collects and clogs up the machine. This kit will be kept with one of my sewing machines that does not have a tool box or storage area for tools attached to the machine.

This is a very handy sewing machine cleaning kit. The screwdrivers are short so it's easier to get in tight spaces. There are different kinds of brushes, tweezers, needle threaders and a seam ripper. Everything comes in a handy storage box so you don't have to look everywhere to find what you need.
