This magnetic seam guide is nice and just goes right on the sewing machine and helps me to sew straight. You dont need it but it really helps me sew straight and its easy to just pop on machine and to pop right off sewing machine. I wont use this every time but I know I will be using this alot when sewing and it will really help me out.

Magnet very strong indeed, almost need a crowbar to get it off the needle plate. Very difficult to position correctly because of its strength, so I won't be using it. So strong it started to pull the needle plate off!
