Having never purchased guitar specific tools, but LOTS of art studio tools in my life, the best I can do is compare this to tools in general. This very much feels like very an entry level toolkit. Nothing here is of spectacular quality, but all of it should get the job done...so it is really about what you are looking for and the budget you have. All the sandpaper I already had on hand was of nicer quality, and the mallet is the same level of quality as the cheapest one I have ever purchased. That being said, they do what they are supposed to do, and the mallet is a nice size for working with smaller objects. The file is just like another I have purchased, and is quite simple. The leveling beam seems straight, so will work just fine. All in all it is a decent start, but meant for a beginner. Probably its greatest strength is its affordability.
