These do exactly what they say they will do. My cat does not scratch the couch when I use these. Highly recommend for furniture protection.

This has SAVED my new couch. Note: I also got my cats a few new scratch pads and some catnip spray to keep them loving their things, but this tape has been HUGE and has worked so well.

Unfortunately these didnβt work for my cats, but honestly, the disconnect may be with my cats. In theory though, it SHOULD work with cats that are more cooperative than mine

Our indoor cat has taken to scratching on the door frames. I ordered these to put on the door frames in hopes it'll deter her from scratching on the them. While I was putting one on she went to scratch right there after I got it stuck to the door frame, before I got the blue paper removed. I brushed her away. Next morning I was telling my wife about the sticky tape I put out on. As I was telling her, I was standing right by a door frame where I put oneif them. Our cat came right up in that moment and raised up to scratch and put her paws on the sticky tape and pulled away and was immediately uninterested in scratching there.They work.

I really believe these sheets will work for most cats. However, ours are absolutely crazy and it didn't work on them. They were still able to scratch through some spots, but for others, they would feel it once and turn away. At one point, they got a bit smart and tried to bite the edges of it - I'm assuming to remove the tape.It's incredibly sticky to the point where if you touched it without sticking it to anything first, you'd need to use your other hand to rip the paper away. However, it's not extremely sticky like fly trap paper either. Sticking it to surfaces is a breeze, and I like that I can cut these sheets in any shape for those odd areas that need it.Overall, it worked a bit for us but not entirely. I think over time if you have a smart cat, they will realize they need to rip it off to get to their favorite scratch-thing underneath. I'd say it's worth a try, though. These sheets are very large and pretty sticky. If your cat is deterred by regular double-sided tape, this will be an improvement over that.
