It was excellent easy to wire the clock for the sprinklers

The wire feels substantial, both the individual stands and the outer PVC jacket. It should hold up well. The larger diameter zone wires make it easy to strip and provide less voltage drop over the 50 ft length than other products with smaller gauge wire. This feel commercial grade, and it might be overkill for a typical suburban home, because the cable is stiller and harder to work with than more residential oriented products. If you are using in a suburban environment, I suggest having another person help you route the wire.

This sprinkler wire is well made, and as described. Durable wire overall and solid copper. Good consistent wiring all throughout. Very satisfied with the quality of this spool of wire. Definitely recommend.

Great variety of lengths perfect for what I needed so I didn’t have to splice two together.

Worked well for my project, with heavy gage wire.

I ordered this item because I replaced a sprinkler valve manifold that controls the zones of my sprinkler system in my yard. Since my system is over 25 years old I wanted to replace the control wiring for the valves at the same time. This wiring is rated for direct burial but I pulled it through the 3/4" conduit from my controller to the valve box using the old wire to pull in the new wire. There were no problems and I did use a wire pulling lubricant. The distance was about 22 feet. The individual wires are 18 gauge solid copper and each wire has a different color insulation. The seven strands have a jacket around them inside the outside insulation. I had no problems cutting the outside insulation with a sharp pocket knife, and then used my wire stripper to strip the individual wires. They fit the space labeled "18" on my wire stripper so that's how I verified the wire gauge. While the manufacturer says this cable is rated for underground use, I have no means to test that capability. The product does appear to be of good quality and worked well for me. In addition to sprinkler control wiring, this cable assembly should be good for any application for which you need multi-wire 18 gauge copper. It was perfect for what I used it for so it gets 5 stars.

Wire is solid copper and not CCA which is becoming more common and harder to avoid if you are not carefully reading product descriptions. However even though this cable is listed as 18ga it appears to actually be 20ga. Otherwise overall it appears to be a fairly decent 7 conductor cable and I will be able to utilize it anyway as a low voltage valve wire.
