Ordered this set in July. Not quite ready to use them, I put the package up until today (a cooler morning to work outside). Pulled the package out to install them... no keys. The back of the package has a sticker that said Amazon Warehouse, so I can only assume it was a returned product... that came back without keys... and QC didn't catch the "key" missing pieces.Frustrated with Amazon as my return window already closed. ๐Ÿ˜กMoral of the story: Check the packages you receive. Open them to make sure ALL the parts are in there before you store them away if you don't need to use the product within 30 days. ๐Ÿ™„

The adage "measure twice, cut once" certainly applies here. These were exactly the right length right out of the box for my Lund Fury that came with vinyl flooring & no locks on the 1/2" plywood lids on the rod lockers. I'm fairly handy with hand tools so after drilling a 3/4" inch hole the locks just bolted into place. You just have to be careful that you place them so the latching arm operates correctly. With 2 locks for each lid the installation is reasonably secure.

I bought a used truck cap/topper with 3 locking doors, but the existing locks didn't match each other and none came with keys. I was pleased to find these as a Warehouse Deal as it was a cheap solution to my problem. The locks are typical construction and quality for this type of lock - not super high security, but enough to deter someone just walking by trying handles. As they are not weatherproof, I took the cylinders out and greased them before installation. Cam lock mechanisms generally aren't tight enough to seize up, but it seemed like cheap insurance.

I bought these locks for the storage compartment doors on my rv.The previous owner of my rv lost the key for the compartments. I needed 3, so I have an extra. These were a direct replacement to the original cylinders, and installed easily.Comes with 2 different sets of lock tabs that should work for most applications. You can bend the tabs slightly to tighten or loosen the fit to get it perfect.Cost far less then a locksmith and only took a few minutes per door to change them.

Was about to spend twice as much money on a custom set but decided to give these a go. They fit perfect on my 2018 Flagstaff 21DS, now I have a different key than the rest of the world.I forgot to change my shower door lock but wasn't going to by another 4 pack of locks just for that, I just didn't want to carry the CH751 key with me just to open the shower lock. Come to find out my new keys I received with these locks open that lock, I started to wonder if the CH751 keys would open these new locks so I tested it but nope they don't so its a win win for me.

Good product. Fast delivery. Great price. I did have a bit of trouble figuring out which ones to order, since the ad didn't explain anything about how to measure. (After great research) I found out that the diameter of these are 3/4" (same as mine) and if I measure the length of the threaded shaft of my old one which was 1 -1/8 " THAT is the correct one 1-1/8 "..... It only took about 45 mins to find out ! This should be in the ad ..." All are 3/4" in diameter. Measure the threaded shaft length for the correct length size when ordering 5/8" or 7/8" or 1-1/8".. Would have saved me a lot of time ! I'll still give it 5 stars.

I had many times before heard that the manufacturer in the RV industry all used the same-key locks for RV compartments, because it was "convenient" for them not to have to worry about different locksets and keying alike and all that, so ALL the locks were "keyed alike" (or most of them, at any rate). I didn't choose to believe it, though, until a fellow camper and I were discussing it, and I walked over to his RV and unlocked his compartment!! After nearly 40 years of RVing, my locks are "now my own". It took less than half an hour to change the locks on my RV. The ONLY "Downside": Though they come in sets of four locks with two keys, my RV has five locks. I took the remaining original lock to a locksmith, and it took him about 10 minutes to key the old lock to the new "unique" key.I WAS concerned about ordering the correct length. After reading several opinions, I measured from the start of the threads (at the key/collar end) to the total end of the lock minus the cam (the "tang" that actually moves to engage the lock). They fit and work fine!

ok.I had to whack about 3/16" off the end of the arms. Comes with a short arm and a long arm; short one was too short and long one was too long. Don't lose the little spacer that goes behind the arm when you remove the arm, it'll fall right off when you stick the lock thru the door and if you're over grass you might have to search awhile fortunately I was inside my equipment barn with a nice clean concrete floor but I was thinking to myslf on my hands and knees man I'm glad I brought it in the barn. Would have been sweet if they thought enough of you to include a large washer with each lock so the bulkhead nut doesn't rip the junky aluminum door. At least they are keyed alike, too bad they don't offer 6 keyed alike as I need 6 total and found no option to get 2 packs of 4 that were keyed alike(having 2 spares would be a good thing eh? Except that I hated to spend the 21 bucks for 4, on our old junky rig but the key I have for the current locks is almost broken in half.
