This is a good quality and proper gaffer's tape. It has good adhesion but when removed leaves no residue, holds well and is easy to remove. It tears easily, looks good and functions exactly like it should.Highly Recommended

This is exactly what I expect from gaff tape… durable but easy to tear when you need it. Properly sticky, sticks to carpet and smooth surfaces easily. I left a piece stuck to my laptop for a couple of weeks, and it peeled off cleanly leaving no residue. I always have a couple of rolls of gaff around the house, and it’s really nice to have a roll in a wider format for those “special” jobs.

Used it on a low shag industrial carpet to secure / cover a cord that would make a fire marshal shriek. It not only lifted off the carpet, but lifted off itself where I ran overlapping pieces.This was in a climate controlled office where the tape was tamped down and then left untouched; but it looked like it bubbled up off itself and the floor. Maybe I just don't know how to use tape appropriately... Do not use for kidnapping or bondage (unless it's just pretend).If they improve the adhesion this could be a decent product. Going to pony up for 3M or something more reputable.#TWOSTARS #RETURNED

At four inches the gaffer tape is economical. It is easy to customize the size that I need by snipping and tearing the tape to any size that I need. The gaffer tape has smooth cloth like feel. It does not leave a sticky residue behind. In addition, the adhesive goo stays under the tape and does not edge out the sides. I used customized pieces to cover cracks in the upholstery on my workout bench. I had one piece off center and I was able to easily take it off and readjust it with no problems and it stuck. One crack was on the corner of the bench and the tape conformed well. The full four inch size functions well for holding down floor mats and thick gauge extension cords.

I use gaffer tape as general-purpose tape, and sometimes the wider stuff really comes in handy! This tape seems to be comparable to other no-name gaffer tapes on the market as far as sticking ability (give it some time to cure and stick better) it does well enough and it also removes clean after 24 hours...

I’m really happy with this 4-inch wide gaffer tape from Chuangdang. It’s perfect for keeping down multiple or thicker cables, and I’ve included a picture showing how much wider it is compared to a standard roll of gaffer tape. The tape has all the standard properties you expect — it’s strong, sticks well, and doesn’t leave a mess when removed. It’s a great value for the price, and I’m definitely going to be picking up this brand again when I need more. Highly recommend it!

Nice gaffers tape -- really wide - which can come in real handy when taping down wires.I do have one issue with this gaff tape, however, and that is that it isn't very stretchy, so it doesn't stretch to conour around wires and other things you're taping. This differs from "real" gaff tape. However, it is fabric, and it is flexible.The top layer of the tape is a bit hard to initially rip apart when you're trying to tear the tape. I found it to adhere to itself a bit too well, stretching (with a lot of force) instead of ripping.This tape will come in handy, but I don't think I'd call it true gaff tape.Included is a photo of it taping over a glass and plastic straw to illustrate it's use with some cables (it's what I had available for this review), along with a shot of the underside of the tape. The piece showing the underside of the tape - you can see some black bits up at the corners -- top right and bottom right -- that shows how the top layer of the tape (the non-adhesive part with texture) stretched (with quite a bit of force) before it ripped.

Excellent gaffers tape. I play in a band, so I use a lot of gaffers tape to hold down mic and speaker cables. This stuff tears easily by hand, tearing in a straight line. It’s plenty sticky enough to hold down the cables, but removes easily without leaving residue. Just like gaffers tape is supposed to do. I bought both a 3” roll and a 4” roll. The extra wide one is great if you need to run speaker cables or power cords through the audience, or for running a snake to the board.
