I buy and use a LOT of gaffers tape, so when I see it come up on vine, I usually jump on it. While this isn't bad tape, it is the worst that I've used. The finish is smoother and shinier than any other gaffers tape I've used, appearing more satin than matte. The amount of stick, while residue-free, is much less than other brands. Honestly, if you blindly handed this to me and didn't tell me it was gaffers tape, I'd think it was dollar-store duct tape. It's still functional, but there's better out there.

6 rolls of gaffing tape, 30 yards per roll, 2 inches wide. This stuff is like duct tape but more for temporary use and doesnt leave behind any residue but looses some adhesive power, so it's good for things like tacking down cables to the floor so you don't trip. I used it to temporaily secure a brake cable to my ebike until i got the proper utility I needed. In the picture i threw a piece on the desk and tore it off to show that there is no sticky left behind. Comes with a couple half inch rolls of flourescent green and orange, which can visually mark off an area, perhaps some green screen usage, etc. Minus one star because one roll had a defect about half way thru where the tape kinda reversed, Im sure they would have replaced it, but there is so much tape here for a normal household, I did not complain.

This is a huge quantity of gaffers tape. I need quite a lot to use as reinforcement for sewing seams onto some canvas awnings and tarps, so this product is perfect. The inclusion of the two narrower brightly colored rolls is a huge plus for using on the garage and shop floor for cords or marking parking areas. It sticks really well to almost every surface I’ve tried it on and removes easily with no residue. This much yardage is a great value in my opinion and I expect to get good use out of it. It’s very durable and hold up to my tool carts rolling over it. It holds cord in place really well and keeps them from being a trip hazard in my shop.

This tape is kind of strange for gaffer's tape, and definitely not something I would purchase again if I needed gaffer's tape. As another review mentioned, the texture of the tape is sort of satin smooth, not the woven fabric texture of normal gaffer's tape. That definitely wouldn't be a dealbreaker, but the fact that the tape is very minimally sticky is. Typically gaff tape can be used for securing cables to walls or floors, holds a fair bit of weight evenif the surface is a bit dirty or dusty, and comes off more or less cleanly. While this tape comes off quite cleanly, it's not strong enough to really hold anything up or down.If all you need to do is use tape for marking, or maybe for bundling cables, this would do the job for you and be easy to remove, but don't expect it to work for anything particularly demanding.

This tape has a matt black vinyl top layer, this layer is stuck to a white fiber reinforced glue layer.The black top layer can be peeled off of the glue layer, but the exposed top of the glue layer will not be sticky.Normally, Gaffers tape has a black fabric top layer that has had the glue layer applied to it.Here, the fiber layer is part of the glue layer.This tape is a bit hard to peel off of the roll, but is is not too aggressive when applied to a surface.It is pressure sensitive, the harder you press it to a surface the better it sticks.It comes off clean, and does not leave any glue behind if peeled off within a few days.I have not had enough time to see how it does for long term release and residue.This tape works like normal Gaffers tape, but the top layer makes it a bit stiffer, so it does not conform to a surface quite as well.The matt surface has a nice flat black look to it, it is non reflective with little to no sheen.Sometimes the white glue layer can be seen at the edges if it is placed on a dark surface.The rolls came well packed, wrapped in heat shrink plastic with a non stick separator between the rolls to keep them from sticking together.Purchasing a bulk pack like this brings your cost per roll down when compared to buying single rolls.

Good gaff tape for the price. Tape is thicker than your average gaff. Tears off the roll easily, good adhesion and low residue. Great for running cables across stages or permanent cable management
