This is very sturdy and secured tightly with the original screw. Removing the og rubber (required) was a little tricky. After removing the screw, I tried just pulling and twisting but it wouldn't budge. I saw a video showing someone removing the rubber by wedging a small screwdriver between the rubber and metal and spraying WD40 into it. I did this and it came off easily. It looks cool and I can easily put it into reverse with my foot.

The original part was very small and bland. This stands out much nicer, is easier to grab, and I think looks pretty sharp.The part is heavy. So I know it will last. There are no moving parts or things that can break. Simply remove the original screw, pull off the rubber cylinder (it does not want to come off), and then slide this on and screw in. Very easy, other than the brush burn on your hand from getting the rubber off. Looks nice. Stays on tight. One small piece to trick out the Ryker. I like it.

I like this gearshift, as it really adds to the appeal of the Can Am. I can find it easier with my foot, and I can also see at a glance if it's in F or R because it's much larger and shows rotation better. Easy to install, and doesn't get in the way at all. Replaces the ugly rubber peg with a visually appealing and very functional gearshift.
