One of the release levers for my DeWalt DW7231 saw bracket got damaged and was unusable. I found this replacement lever and it was identical to the original and fit perfect. The only difference is this replacement lever has a matte finish while the OEM lever had a shiny finish. But other than that, it works just as good as the original. I recommend it!

I can only replace cheap plastic with cheap plastic that failed last time? Income security I guess. It's also what happens when you source your business out to China.

Perfect replacement for the manufacturer's original. On my double miter saw I ran into an issue where one of these had the bottom lever drop down for some reason. This fixed it. Now it doesnt include the bigger U spring so if your existing completely got destroyed and you lost that piece you will need to get it elsewhere.Otherwise install was easy, easiest if you can do it upside down on the base but I had no problem doing it with the machine on the rails with this one just lifted off. Undo the bolt and nut with a hex wrench and a wrench. Pull the bolt out and make sure not to lose the big U spring.Move spring over to this one, get one corner back into alignment to get the bolt through use pressure to get the bolt all the way through. Screw nylon nut back on.Whole thing took under 15 min and now both levers function great again.
