The first carburetor I received was obviously a returned unit which I returned. The second one received was in a sealed package and contained all the necessary parts. This carburetor was to replace one that I had purchased previously. That one never did run right. After installing this carburetor and adjusting the high and low speed mixtures, the KT17 runs great at both full and throttle and idle.Throttle response is instant and it has more high end.

Right or wrong I installed this carb without making any adjustments. My garden tractor w. Kohler 18HP Twin cylinder engine fired right up. Idles great and high speed RPM is right at recommended speed of 3400rpm. Engine runs strong and smooth under load with this new carb. Great product at an amazing price. Although I would not recommend installing without a tuning adjustment but my tractor runs too good to mess with it :-). Note: I did have to transfer choke shaft and plate from old card to this new one so choke lever cable worked with existing cable routing.

Great value and works out of the box with extra seals and Linkages. With some fuel line.

The fuel float was broken before i even installed the carb which caused the engine to flood. Luckily i was able to use the oem float from the old carb to get it working

It worked on the tractor but was not able to get properly adjusted. Ran good for a short time then ran rough again. Would not hold adjustment. I ended up cleaning original carburetor and was able to get running fine.

In the past I have bought small engine carburetors and they have been hit or miss. This one just worked perfectly with very minimal adjustment necessary. I put this on an almost 30 year old garden tractor and it now starts up with just a bump of the key.I’m very impressed with this carb. And would not hesitate to buy another if needed

This company and product have huge potential to knock it out of the park.Out of the box the float was not set properly and the needle and seat were junk. The bowl gasket is horrible.Dont buy this andless your just looking for a few parts to rebuild your original carb.With a few improvements this could he a good product

Used to replace carb in a old Craftmans GT6000 lawn tractor with Kohler M18 engine. Had to make only one modification on idle arm. Drilled hole out to size of the rod keeper and straighten the 1/8 “ bend so the Governor rod would hang on bottom of air cleaner. Little jet adjustments and engine running smooooth……
