This is solid entry level plate carrier. It makes a perfect backup if you are looking for that. The plastic quick connect attachments are a little week and it lacks pockets for side plates, but overall, the build quality is respectable. The vest is a little small, so it would only work for stand plates, not larger, enhanced coverage plates. The shoulder pads provide good support and the molle is rugged. Overall, a good value at the price point.

There is no doubt that this is not a plate carrier for armor. The adjustments are easy to do to get it to fit proplery. Was able to hold some heavier NIJ level 4 plates snugly with little room for movement. The quick release straps are a nice edition to get it off without having to fumble with other types of attachment systems. For the price point it is on par as some other well know brands in this space.
