This hardware is nicely designed, the hinge moves freely, and the hinge-pin is nice and secure. The parts are solid and weighty with a load rating of 1,500 pounds as per the product listing.In the spring I plan to build a small playground in the backyard for the kids. I ordered this hardware because of its high load rating and it looked ideal for mounting on 4 x 4-inch pressure treated lumber. This package came with all the hardware needed; swing hinges, lag bolts and a drill bit for pre-drilling into the wood.I'm looking forward to the finished playground so my kids can have fun in the yard. As for the swing, I plan to get one that is suitable for kids and adults, as these swing hangers can easily handle it.

These rings shackles are solid pieces that are well crafted. Articulation is smooth, weight bearing is high and they simply perform well. The mounting screws have good bite and length. I find this set to be a strong value and good for outdoor play swings or hanging things for storage.

These are very strong well made, however make sure they fit your application. I could not get them to work in the orientation I wanted on my treehouse and had to change my strategy.Once mounted they hold very securely and I'm very confident in them.

So i purchased these to hang from 2x8 roof trusses on my back porch. Unfortunately these are made for a 4x board...a 4x4 beam or whatever. I got creative and doubled up the trusses. But just be aware of this. Even doubling up the truss the two bottom screws almost fall into the crack between the trusses. It works fine. Is solid. I have no fears of this going anywhere ever. However just be aware if you are trying to attach into a single 2x dimensional lumber it will not line up as you hoped.

I installed these to support a hammock from a 2x10 joist. I could not use the included screws, instead using thru bolts with washer and nuts.The hangers are very steady and I believe they will be durable. I’ll keep an eye on these over a few months and report back. But so far, so good!
