I'm building a short monkey bar run for my kids and am using these SELEWARE 6-Pack 17-Inch Green Metal Playground Safety Handles for the task. They are heavy, feel strong, and look good when you hold them. The grip smooth but the powder coating and diameter make them easy to grasp. The large size should make a wide enough run for the wee ones. I took some pictures with the hardware on my 2x4 deck rail. I also added a quarter so you can see the comparable size of the fasteners and handles. A nice addition is the fasteners can be wrenched down or screwed in with a Phillips for installation options.I opted for the 4 hole version for additional safety and function since I want these to be able support more weight as my kids grow. As others have mentioned they were packaged very securely to keep them from rubbing up and scratching during shipment.

These are heavy, well made, and exactly as described. The measurements are exact so installation was a breeze. These grab bars are a necessary and awesome addition to our play structure. They install vertically or horizontally, and provide great support for kids big and small! Color is as described. Strong recommendation!

This is a review for:SELEWARE 6-Pack 17-Inch Green Metal Playground Safety Handles – Heavy-Duty, Non-Slip Grab Bars for Indoor/Outdoor Kids’ Playsets, Swing Sets, Playhouses, Treehouses, Jungle Gyms & Climbing FramesFour-hole versionThese are plenty strong. I'm going to mount them to the ceiling to use for chin-ups, pull-ups, and other exercises. I am going to attach some cable handles to them for added versatility. I might also add gymnastics rings and suspension bands. These are a great addition to a home gym.I'm also going to mount some of them to walls to serve as anchors for resistance band exercises. Most people aren't aware of how many different exercises you can do with a simple set of resistance bands and handles. You can find charts online by searching for "resistance band exercise charts."These have many other uses as well, and they are weather resistant enough to last for years outside.

We installed these on our 16-month-old granddaughter's Step 2 swing set and roost. She can climb herself and loves to do it, with adults poised with hands behind her to catch her, lol.But when she gets to the top, she has nothing to grab to pull herself up when she runs out of stairs, lol. We have two slides - this and a small one - that his is an issue with. So, we got these and installed them close to the top, to grab onto. And boy does she.She has really embraced using these to get herself up to the top. She looks up and sees them, smiles and when she's in reach, she grabs them. This has to be because they alleviated an anxiety/uncertainty she felt when she got to the top all the other times. These are well-made of sturdy material. The coating is rubber. We dipped them into textured non-slip rubber dip so her hands wouldn't slip. They work great and definitely are suitable for use on children's playsets.

These are sturdy handlebars. These are sturdy handlebars. They were easy to screw in and install. They hold a good amount of weight too. My kids are able to use them to climb up onto their fort without any issue.

These are sturdy and look to be powder coated. They look good. They are the size you would expect for climbing up to a slide or other playground feature. I installed three on the stacked railroad tie retainer wall outside my home because the neighborhood kids like to climb up there instead of coming all the way around the other side. I intend to use the other three for climbing up the swing frame I'm attaching to my deck. The bolts strip pretty easily, so I needed to use a 10mm socket bit to drive them all the way in. I'm glad the bolts came versatile like that, so they could be installed with a Phillips or socket bit, but not everyone has a socket set on hand so the bolts should be sturdy enough to withstand such installation. For this, I removed a star.I hung on them a bit to be sure they weren't going anywhere. I don't expect them to come loose with ordinary play by children. These aren't intended for adults. The holds are the right depth for children but too shallow for adults to use on a regular basis. A few times climbing would be fine, but using these to regularly get into a loft or something like that would be irritating. You would also want longer bolts for regular use by people over 150 lbs or so.I had the kids climb up and down them a few times to be sure they work as expected. My child said they are great and feel like climbing on the playground. They work well.
