How to cut to prevent the rope from spreading out？
1. Wrap the tape around the position where the rope will be cut. Cover an area about 4-5 inch long.
2. Use a knife or loppers to cut the rope. (cut in the middle of the tape area)
3. Please make sure the tools you use are sharp enough to cut rather than tear the rope.

This rope is as described and pictured. I wouldn't use it for heavy-duty work, but it's great for decorative use. I am planning to use it for a rope "railing" on our basement stairs - not heavy traffic, but too narrow for a bulky railing. The fibers are not exactly silky, but nor are they rough/scratchy.

I wanted a respectably thick rope to climb for an exercise without costing a lot of money. This felt like a great value, it's far longer than needed for where I have it currently off the top of my squat rack but I'll probably move it to my much taller barn in the spring. It's no joke trying to climb a rope. My young kids have been enjoying it too. Sheds a little bit and will definitely toughen up your hands.

This rope will work nicely for a porch swing, or decorative landscape use. However, I would not trust this rope for any heavy usage such as for boat mooring or any other heavy dependent usage. The rope seems very easy to pull apart. If the end tape is removed, I can see this rope unraveling itself quite easily. Since the end tape seems a bit loose and flimsy, the first thing I will do before I use this rope will be to add a heavier and larger tape end.
