I got these for use on our sailboat jib, but unfortunately they were a bit small for our use. (Dyneema rope for front stay.) That seems to be my fault for not paying attention to the measurements provided - make sure to take a good look at them!So instead, we use these for quickly clipping doggie bags and dog park fob to my dog's different leashes. They honestly work great for that.The pin is pulled slightly, and the shackle will open for quick removal.
