The 2 Pack 14"x14" Welding Blanket was purchased to protect surrounding items during metal welding, cutting and grinding. Comments following review and light limited use:The small blankets are 14"x14"x1/4" as advertised and soft to the touch which will work well to protect sensitive/fragile items from sparks/heat. One blanket was placed into service to protect equipment paint from grinding/brushing and performed very well. One note is the material is not overly structured and can be easily pulled apart, and more so than originally estimated - this is Not a "blanket" material but a "felt" material. That said, the felt should provide good Light protection for small areas.Form, Fit and Function are all Good, but Value is average to poor at the $9.99 price point - basically $5/SF where a true blanket can be cut to this size for around $1/SF. Durability is in question due to "felt wick" material. 3 Star rating.

Blankets are small, but thick enough to shield flammable materials when welding or soldering.

These work as intended, but are smaller than I would prefer. Also, while they don't melt out burn, there is a slight odor like burning hair or burning plastic

I got these to protect the area around my welding "attempts". These are really tough and are holding up great. I think they're well worth the cost - at least for me it's probably prevented at least one fire.

I ordered the TOHONFOO Welding Blankets from Amazon because I do a lot of plumbing work and soldering with copper pipe and a Mapp Gas torch. There are many times I have to solder (sweat) pipe joints near a wooden beam or some other flammable object. I use these small welding blankets to wrap the flammable object to keep the flame from burning it.I have found that they work quite well!

Nice small welding blanket. I have large blankets, but sometimes you just need something small and you don't want to get the big ones out. These are perfect for those situations. I like the material too, I have the fiberglass style, but I like this felt like material much better.
