While I like these types of shredding toys for my birds, these platforms don’t come assembled. It comes with the materials to do it yourself. I don’t trust that with something so easy to pierce that it is safe for my bird to perch on. The smaller versions come assembled with thicker and harder cardboard on the side where the mounting hardware is. I think I will stick with those instead of the larger versions.
