I have tried other salt & pepper shakers, but they all seem to have holes too big or too small. There's too much salt or too little pepper. I mean, I have tried several "modern" shakers, but none worked as well as my old-fashioned glass ones. I used them last night for cooking, and they're just what I wanted. They look pretty, too. This is a good buy.

These are classic salt and pepper shakers that look elegant for a nice dinner or just for every day use. I use mine every day and because they are really nice looking, I am able to leave them out on the counter. Made of a thicker glass (not thin or cheap) and the holes are a perfect serving size when using.
