My son loves it. My husband is nervous because depth perception at night is difficult even with a glow in the dark ball

These balls are the same size as regular baseballs, and look/feel the part, too. They are not quite as tough as most "real" baseballs, but pretty close. They look great in light/daylight, and glow for a good amount of time in the dark before needing to be recharged

My son eats, breathes, and lives for baseball. This ball is built well. He loves to play pass with it and enjoys the color to play at dusk. He can see the ball better. It would make a great and affordable gift!

My kids think these baseballs are the coolest thing ever! We just had a birthday party with a bunch of 9 year old boys and they stayed out so long playing baseball and catch. They used their flashlights to recharge it if it got too dim so I can't say how long the "glow" lasts but it seemed to do pretty well! You can tell which balls are which because they have a slight greenish tint in the daylight.

The glow is brighter on the balls than I thought they would be. They need light to charge but looks great. Look forward to playing catch with them.

I ordered this set of Glow-In-The-Dark Baseballs to take to a July Family Reunion where there will be a number of tween and teen kids attending. The balls themselves seem regulation sized and well-made. Unlike other glow-in-the-dark models, there are no lithium batteries that need to be charged. I assume you also can hit these with a bat.I was drawn to this particular set since they can be lit up in daylight OR under indoor lights during the day to make them glow lime green at night.Unfortunately, there are issues.1. It's hard to get them to glow green evenly. Unless you keep rotating them while charging, the color picks up on the side you've exposed to light but the bottom does not. The listing photos are deceiving.2. The color doesn't last long. The point of these baseballs is to give the kids something to do at night, however, these will revert to white (non-glowing) after a short while (an hour at the most).Back to the drawing board.

These are actually quite a bit cooler than I originally thought they would be. A few minutes in the sun or under a light is all it takes to "charge" the glow in the dark feature. As with most glow in the dark things, the glowing effect doesn't last very long, but if you've got one in the light while you're using the other, you'll easily be able to rotate every 10 mins or so.Easily a great gift idea for the baseball fan in your life!
