I've bought many readers, some pull apart and will ruin your expensive micro sd, some are difficult to use, and when sticking out from your pad/reader will break when force is accidentally applied, ruining your micro sd. This contraption works the best, by far, is sturdier, doesn't pull apart, and can take an accident. It's the only one I'll buy in the future.

These only work for certain phones make sure they work for yours by maybe contacting the owner in Amazon there of food quality but would not work for mine they may read but not open this is my second one I tried had to return

***dropped to one star from two after being charged restocking fee for defective sd cards readers, so I wouldn't buy as you will just get someone else's broke return since they are restocking it***These arent designed very well and are hit and miss on if they will work. When it comes to data and small connections I wouldn't risk it. One of the two worked and it was flakey also. Shortly after trying to use them one of my ad card started acting weird I tossed them back in box and started a return. Cool design but needs to be be glued down or checked a little better before selling to transfer people data. Not work the money, it is small, and does work on usb-c and a typical USB port. Didn't dare test speed.

edge of card reader must hit against edge of phone for the entire size of the card reader. This prevent keeping your phone in its "bumper protector" case. All other USB-C devices I have plug in just fine with cover on the phone, such as a USB-a to USB-C adapter. This was supposed to replace my micro-SC to USB/USB to USB-C double adapters just to see "Motorcycle-dash-cam" video when not at home.
