OS How to store from phone to memory card?
- 1.Insert the memory card into the card reader
- 2.Then insert the caard reader into the iPhone find the "photos" app
- 3.Select the picture or video you want to save to the memory card
- 4.Click on "save to files"
- 5.Find the card reader file and select Save File to complete the operation.（generally data of memory card is on “Untiled” or "NONAME", which is the name of your memory card）

I got this so I could use my old i phone 6 as a back up hard drive for sd & cf card images from older cameras. It works well but is a bit slow - But it does keep you informed as to what it’s doing at each stage of the process. I find it best not to transfer too many images at a time as it also sends copies to my i pad & it can be a bit annoying having to wait for the images to upload. As long as you’re not in a hurry this item can be recommended. Update: April 2025 - This was fine for my SD,microSD & old XD cards but when I came to use it for my old CompactFlash cards I found that the cards wouldn't go in. When I looked closely I could see that 3 of the contact pins were bent & 2 were too long, 1 too short, preventing the cards from going in. This rendered the item Useless for CompactFlash which was the main reason I bought it as I already own a cheap SD reader that works perfectly. I figured if I paid a little more I'd get a better item but this was not the case. I will now look for a CompactFlash Only reader - if such a thing exists & I'll probably buy the Cheapist one. I would now rate this product at 2-3 stars only as it just can't justify its price tag - DISAPPOINTED!!

So far it’s good! lol. Used it to transfer SD to C-type into a Mac. No issues. Way cheaper than buying a new laptop, just for the SD port….just saying. Lol

...or, removable memory to and from a computer without a phone.I copied photos to a USB flash thumb drive from a laptop, unmounted the card reader from the computer, plugged the USB-C plug of the card reader into my phone and copied the photos into a folder I created on the phone. I have an Andriod phone and it worked great (there is an Apple Lightning plug for iPhones).It of course works in both directions: Photos from the phone to your removable memory, and as described above, from removable memory to your phone.The card reader worked fine other than it oddly copied all of my phone's folders to whatever flash card or USB drive I put into the card reader.It didn't copy the contents of the phone's folders, just the folders, empty. I could delete them from the SD card or thumb drive but still odd as the folders otherwise stay on the camera card or thumb drive.In addition to the multiple card slots the card reader has 3 USB slots so if your computer/laptop has few USB slots you can use it as a hub for mouse, wireless dongle, thumb drives etc while reading to and from the memory card slots.Although the seller page says you can only read one card at a time I was able to read from a camera SD card in one slot and copy photos from it to a USB thumb drive in another slot with the reader plugged into my phone. (i.e., copy photos from the SD to the thumb drive using the phone as an interface, no computer needed).Per usual, the instructions aren't the greatest so you may have to practice a little. You should have some knowledge of where your folders are located and how to move photos to and from.Again, I have an Android phone, the iPhone instructions will be different.It is a cool little multi use card/USB reader/hub.
