Lots of compliments. Look classy. Wanted something that shines down, is not huge, not dawn to dusk and attractive. For the money this is a fantastic deal. The copper hammer look inside really looks great when tinting the light.

The package arrived in a plastic bag inside a box. One of the shades was missing the cap covers for the screws and was scuffed up. The other light simply didn't work. I thought they looked so cute and was disappointed that I couldn't just contact the seller, initiate a return, and hope they would send a new one, as the one I received had clearly been returned before.

Smaller outdoor lights for beside a back door. I really like the hammered surface and the copper reflection from inside the fixture. Great price too!

I think one of the reviews said these are too "flimsy".....folks, these are not commercial/industrial lights, nor are they priced as such. If mounted on a shear unprotected exterior wall, a hailstorm could do them in. Yes the metals are fairly thin, and you should treat them gently when installing. Mine are on each side of my entry door, and at 5-1/2 feet above ground, I only need 3-watt (25W equivalent) bulbs, @2700K color temp. which, with the copper-colored inner shade surface, give a soft gentle glow.The shade measures 6-1/2" at the widest, and has a slightly hammered surface, that gives it a pleasant look, tho it's the design, not the style, that was most important to me; for area/security lighting, reflector shades like this provide limited area lighting without the light bulb itself shining in your eyes. This allows you to use lower wattage bulbs than in, say the "jelly-jar" type fixtures common on porches, because as you look in the direction of the light, your pupils constrict from the direct brightness, which then diminishes your ability to see the area around the light. By using a funnel-shaped shade, your pupils can remain more dilated, improving your vision in the surrounding area. That's my theory anyway, and I'm sticking with it!
