As a dental hygienist. I started brushing my dog's teeth when she was a pup. She watched my first dog get his teeth brushed and decided she must have hers done. I have used this toothpaste and brush numerous times and will continue buying this product. The size of the brush is perfect for a Pomeranian or cat. It's very effective with a good brushing technique. I use it daily for her. She doesn't necessarily love it, but her teeth are gorgeous. She has had no adverse reactions. I read one lady though her dog had vomiting and bloody diarrhea from it. I can say that has not happened to my dog.

It absolutely does smell like beef, but I was a little surprised that it has sorbitol and saccharin in it. I think my dog isn't crazy about that part of it. I love the brush that comes with it because it is very small and just what my dog needs. I have a Chiweenie (half Chihuahua and half Dachshund), so she is very small. I like the triangular shape of the brush head too because I can get the brush further back than even with the finger brush. The finger brush is actually rather large and I doubt that I will get any use of it. Its nice that there is the option in this set as it will be suitable for dogs of all sizes. If you read the package though it is EXTREMELY poor English and even worst than most. One of the warning comments states: "For sensitive pet, please gently when brushing teeth, to avoid Cause the discomfort of pet, especially when the right pet." What does that mean?!? This product is made in China. I ordered it because it stated that I would have it in 3-5 days, which was true. I received it within a few days of ordering.

The toothpaste makes my cats vomit afterwards even using an itty bitty amount so I just use water.

works wonders for my 5 month old pomeranian/king james cavalier mix! i decided to start early on her dental care and she enjoys the flavor! She likes the brush more than the finger one and it takes a while for her to get use to it. Get it if you want a starter!!

I started brushing my pups teeth early on when we first got him at 13 months old. He doesn't love it but allows me to do it. He doesn't love the taste but doesn't seem to hate it either. The brushes are easy to use & it comes with 2 tubes of toothpaste so it'll last forever!

The finger brush didn’t do much but the toothbrush is good - also, puppy loves the taste of the toothpaste.
