Ever break your finger nail in the middle of your nail? I am using this for my broken nail. I put it on when I wash my hair or anything else the nail could catch on. If I put a band aid on my nail this fits over it and keeps it dry.

Too hard, bristles area not big enough, bristles not close enough together. Will not buy again.

Not as flexible or as soft as Iwanted them. The clear ones are better.

As I no longer drive (which is why I order a LOT from Amazon) and this came in a large package with other Amazon items, it is NOT worth me finding a box or proper sized padded manila envelope and paying to a take a taxi to our one post office. So it's a TOTAL WASTE. AND ALL because of the WRONG description of this product.Let's start with the CONS as one makes it impossible for me to use.HUGE. At least for even relatively average fingers. I would have to DUCT TAPE this to my finger to not lose in my dog's mouth and have him SWALLOW it.ONLY a couple paragraphs down from the items under the product listing does it say make sure to choose right size. Easy to miss and GUESS WHAT? THERE IS NO SIZE CHOICE! At least when I checked it last.As for PROS - Personally I think the bristles should be more abundant, there is only a part of this with any bristles. But, in THEORY, this may have worked. I have been using a very small soft toothbrush and it's hard to get the very back of my dog's teeth. That's why I ordered this fingertip toothbrush, which I now find totally useless.

I have tried several ways to get my doggos to enjoy teeth brushing; from using chicken and beef flavored pastes to allowing them to get used to the brush and lick the tooth paste off as I slowly desensitize them to the process. For some of my dogs, they have learned to deal with it, the others not so much. This finger brush, although not the easiest to use compared to a more hybrid version of human/animal, allows for me to brush the outside and part of the inside. Although my dogs are my love, some try to bite down when I'm brushing the interior side and fortunately the rubber is thick enough that the bite (albeit a gentle attempt by the dog to consume the flavored paste) prevents me from feeling the full effect of fido's ability to masticate..

We have an 80 pound Chocolate Lab and at 2 years old, we are having serious problems with plaque on her teeth. She refuses to allow us to brush using a traditional toothbrush, so her vet recommended we try something like this. I purchased them after reading reviews figuring anything would be better than nothing. While the reviews were correct that the thimble is slightly large on my finger, it isn't a dealbreaker. I just hold it on to my finger with my thumb - No real problem. She is learning to tolerate these in her mouth so that we are able to maintain her dental health and preserve her teeth. While the other reviews are right that they are large, this is going to help us help her to keep her teeth for the rest of her life. Thank you so much!

Finger toothbrush to effectively and easy clean the dog's teeth and gums and it works! Fits on the finger perfectly and doesn't slide off, paired with a little doggie toothpaste all you have to do is gently start massaging the outer teeth and move around puppy's mouth until you reach the other side. Seems a bit awkward at first, and it's hard to say how much debris is really removed but it sure made me feel like I was doing something positive for our dog. Once the dog relaxed and realized the toothpaste actually tasted yummy, we had a good time in our 7 minute brushing session. After cleaning and drying the brush, it was stowed to be used again. Our new weekly ritual has begun and just needs to be faithfully continued. Orthodontia isn't in my doggie budget and I'm hoping teeth cleaning will be kept to a minimum with this intervention. Definitely worth trying on your dog too.

These have made brushing my puppies teeth so much easier. Before I was using a cheap hotel toothbrush that wasn’t too rough but I couldn’t feel if I was actually brushing the outside of the teeth. With the finger brush though I can feel exactly where I am brushing and I can brush food items (or anything he deems “edible” 🙄) off his teeth much easier. I usually just brush with coconut oil but since he is still young (7 months) it has been a battle trying to shove a toothbrush in his mouth with a delicious taste on it. He will just try to chew on the thing instead of letting me brush with it. Its easier to have some control when brushing with a finger brush and I can also get it done faster. I ordered the regular size for him and it fits well in his mouth. The only complaint I have is I wish these would come in a smaller FINGER size or have an elastic piece near the base so it stays on easier. I put it on my index finger and it is rather loose so I have to hold it with my thumb while in his mouth so it won’t twist or fall off; I’ve also wrapped my finger with first aid tape to make it fit better and that works too. It would probably fit on my husbands finger but lord knows he won’t brush the dogs teeth! Overall I’m happy with it though and it’s made a daily routine a little easier.
