How To Replace New Anode Rod
1、Turn off gas supply and electrical power to the water and pump. allow water to cool
2、Use 1-1/16” socket to slowly drain tank and remove spent anode rod as well as any tank sediment
Anode rod installation:
1、 seal threads with PTFE thread seal tape or sealing compound that is approved for potable water
2、 insert the extended life anode rod and tighten.
3、 Refill tank, checking for leaks
4、 Turn on gas and electric power
