A bird got stuck in the original vent hood (the pipe vents through the chimney, which I desperately need to get get capped), and I wasn’t able to find this part at any retailers near me. I ordered this one hoping it would fit my AO Smith ProLine water heater, and thankfully it did! It arrived the day after I ordered it, which was great because I was nervous about carbon monoxide exposure (even though I do have CO monitors in each floor of my house).
