Unless the piece you are trying to clamp is fairly large they fold in on themselves and don't work. Won't stay tight against the vice.

This is my first set of non marring jaws so I don't have any others to compare them to but it works great for what I need to do with them. Only had them for about a month but so far they're holding up good for firearm repairs and such.

These vice jaw covers are a great idea executed poorly...the main problem being that the magnets that are supposed to hold them to the vice are so weak that the covers are easily knocked of and fall to the floor.I finally drilled out a mortises for larger rare earth magnet and glued them in.Now they work great!Too bad the mfg. couldn't spend a few more cents to make the product do its job.

I've used them a few times now with my vise, and they have worked without any issues. I would buy them again, but they seem to be durable enough that it would not be anytime soon.
