This is just one of many chargers I have and it works just as well as any of the others. I can't justify spending any more money than this cost as you won't reap any rewards in doing so.

These batteries actually lasted longer than I thought with a saw. Charge fairly quick

I have several Ryobi cordless tools and multiple chargers to handle batteries for several of those, but for my cordless drill (One+, 18V; P189 battery with a P118B charger), while I have two batteries I only have one charger. This wasn't much of an issue as the charge on the one battery would usually keep the drill going through the relatively light use I made of it. Just recently though, I had multiple home chores to take care of and ended up running the only charged battery down completely, then had to stop at, of course, the most inopportune times, to wait for the other battery to fully charge. This third-party charger has come in very handy, and does just as good a job charging those Ryobi batteries. The charger from Amsba is larger than the OEM one I have from Ryobi - easily about twice the size - a drawback, but not something that would stop me from buying and using it. It does have a removable power cord, and the plug is just a standard plug so it doesn't take up more than just the one outlet, whereas the OEM one has a hardwired cord and a large power brick that blocks a second outlet from use, so the Amsba wins out in that area. The charger has similar icons to the OEM version, so you can get a heads up on charging status with just a quick glance. Charging time is about the same, no noticeable difference, and the battery, once charged, seems to also last about the same length of time. The price for this charger is comparable with similar third party chargers but, surprisingly, just a little bit more than the pricing on a Ryobi OEM charger, so shop around and compare.

Yes the charger did its job. The cost is high but the equipment works fine.

This charged up my 2 Ni-Mh batteries from 0-100% in just a couple hours. It's nice to have one charger for my 2 battery chemistries (both types are 18V so not sure how it works for lesser voltage batteries).
