I purchased this battery two years ago, worked fine for about a year then suddenly died. Purchased a replacement as it was still the least expensive 40v battery on Amazon. The replacement arrived dead and would not charge at all. Just returned it and won't buy again. It's clearly a poorly made product.

Iwaited about a year until I wrote this review. This battery has lasted well for the last year. Through two seasons. It charges well and holdes a charge well. It fits all my tools perfectly.. The only thing I would say is it is not a true.6amp battery. I compare it to the ryobi six ampThat came with my mower and it does not last as long. However, for the price.I think it's a good value overall.I i think that is more equal to about a five amp at best

This is a reasonably priced replacement for my Ryobi 40V battery and was delivered earlier than expected.

Worked well for two and a half years in my Ryobi leaf blower run once a week.I got fewer than 150 uses before it refused to take a charge (green/red flashing charger). Each use was only two noches of 4 on the meter so really ~75 cycles as they measure for batteries.It was treated well (never fully discharged and always temperature controlled storage) so I am a little disappointed it quit on me after so few uses. I used the charger from the same company (Biswaye).

Really glad there was a battery cheaper than the official Ryobi one. This also works perfect with the ryobi charger that came with my mower. It is actually a lower profile/size than the official battery that came with the mower. I tested it and it used just as much power as the main battery would for my front yard. I bought the second one as I couldn't get through my full front and back yard on one battery and it was annoying me. Great investment for this mower.

As other reviews have proved it is definitely not 6Ah. It's definitely 4Ah as it lasted exactly as long as the Ryobi OEM 4Ah battery. I am okay with that. For the money I spent it's still better than spending way over 100 bucks for an OEM replacement . I just wish Amazon and the vendors were on the same page for truth in advertising. So you get what you pay for. The battery works very well and it's an excellent back up to have on hand. It fits the 40v trimmer perfectly and charges fast.

I bought this thinking it would be a cheaper alternative. Cheaper is right. It does not hold a charge. I charged it once and then it died. I only had it for 36 days. I would like a refund!!
