This is a cross between a Thernometer and an Excel spreadsheet. It's called a Datalogger and its primarily used to keep an Eye on shipments and the temperatures they are subjected to. This is a ONE USE item. It starts its countdown when the start button is pressed. IT CANNOT BE STOPPED IT CANNOT BE RESET. My sample was preprogrammed for 120 days. I stopped it after seven. When stopped the Datalogger will product an Excel spreadsheet and PDF report of the results. Each Temperature reading along with the time and date it was recorded will be prearranged in a column format. This report is permanently stored on the Datalogger and can be accessed by plugging the device into a Windows computer as a USB A drive.The device came sealed in a clear plastic bag, and would have to stay in that bag to be ISO67 compliant. However, it would have to be removed from its plastic bag for the Humidity detector to work correctly but would no longer be water resistant. The battery is permanently installed and non replaceable but since it is 'one time use', device that is not an issue.
