I got these for my Retevis RA79 radios. They don’t fit like the OEM batteries but they do lock in and work well.

They install properly but are a bit difficult to remove, the button to release the latch isn't made right so you really have to push in hard to get it to release. the only other area that doesn't seem right is the battery clip slot, there is way too much play so it'll jiggle around and over time could gouge and otherwise wear out the plastic.

Works. Could be better design. Stock UV-K5(8) belt clip does not fit it correctly at all. Does not come with a belt clip. Not sure what to put on it. Irritated I have to purchase one separately. For the price, it should have been included.

Works well has the USB charge capability. I bought this because it works with the Ridtel UT-600 since it is a clone of the Quanshang uv-K5. Perfect fit.

The USB – C plug is a great addition to this item. Also the charge indicator light freeze you from guessing if the unit has been charged or is completed charging. Further use of the item will determine its long-term quality and capabilities.

I’m happy with this. One UVK5(8) that I weighed, measured out at 7.65 ounces, stock battery. The other same radio weighed in at 9.66 ounces with this this 2600 mAh battery. I am happy. I like that you can plug in a USB-C cable to charge the battery, independent of the radio. On my charger, the battery started out at about 5V/1.4 amperes and gradually went down to less than 100 mA on a full charge.
