They don't last as long as carbon zinc batteries, and their ability to take as much recharge wears off very quickly.

As others have noted, these battery packs do cause the back covers to bulge out. They don't seem to be manufactured to the same dimensions as the originals. They do seem to be functional.

This batteries work perfect in my Motorola radios and their capacity is great, I recomend it to subtitute the originals.

The batteries do work...but, they do not fit very well at all. The backs of my T5720's do not fit flush when closed. In fact, they are very difficult to close because of the battery packs being slightly bulkier than the originals. With the gap between the radio and the back, I would say that the weather resistance rating of my radios is now severely diminished. I'll keep these as backups only.

i have only owned these for about 2 months, but they saved my motorola 5710 radios from the garbage. they charge as they should and hold a charge for at least as long as the previous ones did. only rub is literally, a rub. they fit waaay snug. like those larger women in spandex...they work, but it takes some effort to get them in their outfit. oh, and the coaster is lovely too.

I ordered replacement rechargeable batteries for my Motorola talkabout style radios. The service from Amazon was fast and the website is very user friendly. I have been using the radios for several weeks now and found the batteries to be every bit as reliable as the originals. I purchased the two pack of HQRP batteries.
