Being a mom, I’m always on the go. My car is from ‘09 so hands free technology was before my cars time. Two years ago, while my phone was to my ear, I had a car accident. That was the last event of me talking on the phone while holding it and driving. I tried using the speakerphone but people just complaining about how they couldn’t hear me or understand what I was saying. Thankfully, I was made aware of these handy mini microphones. Thanks to these, I can now drive wherever, and keep both hands on the wheel. I won’t leave the house without them. I, also, love that I can wear them in the grocery store or wherever I may shop and the person can hear what I say clearly. Ever since that car wreck my double scoliosis has been worsening at an alarming rate. Holding a phone to my ear is such a difficult task for me to take on so this product is a life saver. I love that you can see how much battery you have left on them by it being displayed on the case. I love that people on the other end of the phone aren’t asking me what?! What?! Or saying they can’t understand me. The sound quality is awesome and isn’t affected by the wind as whoever created them kept that in mind while designing them. They’re light weight so at first you are going to think they’re cheap but for the price you pay for them. Come on. You are getting a steal! I have to admit I was not expecting much at this price point, but these microphones have blown me away in terms of both their sound quality and ease of use.My primary use case is video recording an instructor leading an exercise class for seniors, using an iPhone 15 Pro Max on a tripod. The instructor wears a Shure brand professional wireless headset tied into the auditorium's sound system. Recording this ambient sound of the class, with the iPhone's own internal mic, was not cutting it. So I pined one of these wireless mics on the instructor's collar. The difference in sound quality and clarity was astounding. There were no wild fluctuations in volume, nor noise from the instructor's movement. In addition, very little background sound was picked up -- not even the auditorium's own sound system. So that was a solid win.But the icing on the cake is how easy these mics are to use. Usually doing Bluetooth pairing is a pain. But with the dedicated receiver, it is literally just plug and play. Plug in the receiver, remove the mics from the charging case, and everything is automatically up and running. It couldn't be any simpler.One disappointment is that, while there are two mics, and the specs say there are two channels, these mics do not yield a stereo recording -- at least not on my iPhone 15 using the either Apple's own voice memo app or videos recorded with the standard camera app. I wanted to record music for the class with the other mic and fix the balance in post production, but as far as I can tell, input from both mics are blended into a single source. It seems like that is a thing with this type of USB-C wireless microphone system. No where in the specs for this mic, nor any similar wireless mics on Amazon, can the word "stereo" be found. So just because there are two microphones, do not assume there are two discrete channels being saved.The only USB-C mics I could find on Amazon that specifically mention "stereo" are wired, not wireless. I plan to work around the problem with careful placement of the second mic with relation to the music sound source.How I assign stars in a review.The star ratings are always in relation to the item's intended purpose, type, and durability.5 stars - The item is perfect with no room for meaningful improvement.
