Seems sturdy, cant verify UV resistance.items were well packaged and arrived fine.I would call this plastic globe transparent vs clear. there are visible mold lines, a significant dimple on top of the dome and some variation of the clarity of the globe at various points across it. There are other inclusions and blemishes but I dont think it will be too noticeable on an outdoor lamp.
