Use this to quickly debur or chamfer your bolts. Great way to get your rod ready to thread, it makes starting the die a lot easier. Just set your drill to a low speed and apply a light pressure. Also use this before you try to remove that nut off of the mushroomed bolt.

Don't bother with these bits. They're just cast metal, with no cutting blades. The edges of the slots aren't even sharp. At best they wear down the edges with friction, but good luck getting them to thread into anything afterward. I tried them on a couple of bolts and had to go find a different tool with actual cutting blades to clean up the mangled mess these made of the threads.

I would expect that these would have a cutting edge of some kind. They do not. There are two, with different ends. Both fit my drills and work the same: Fast, slow, no pressure, high pressure, forward, backwards, we just friction away doing nearly nothing. I see that someone else had a very different experience, so I assume theirs had cutting edges.

Works great. Smooths out bolts with no issues. Not sure how long it will hold up but 20 studs later and its still working.

These chamfering bits work great on smaller bar stock and piping. They make quick easy work of taking the burrs off of cut parts. This set offers two types .... one for hex drive and the other for a drill chuck. Neither of them will slip in the tool during use.

Fairly dull deburrer that looks like it wears away the material as opposed to shaving off the bad part of the bolt thread. It is easy to use, but doesn't do much.

These are workable for bolts and should adapt to your power drill or impact driver. I expected it to be sharp on the cutting edges, but they rely on a modicum of pressure instead.
