Works great to confirm oven temperatures and calibration. I use the braided thermocouple mostly as the plastic one will melt if it touches something hot. It even comes with batteries!

2 Pcs Digital 2 Channels K Type Thermometer with 8 Thermocouples (Wire and Stainless Steel) -50~1300°c (-58~2372°f) Dual Measurement Meter Sensor Handheld HVAC Thermometer High Temperature PyrometerFirst impressions: Nice looking temperature meter and sensor. The wires fit well and have enough length to provide some clearance and ability to read without much danger to your person. The readout is clear and bright, easily read.Installation/setup: Use to measure temperatures as needed for your application.Final thoughts: I got these thermometers to measure the temp in my home and self built raku kiln. The kiln doesn’t need to be totally accurate to the last degree readings, I only need to know if it’s close. I also use cones to tell me the minimum temp the kiln reached to ensure my clay and glazes have reached the proper temp to get the effects I want. This works well for my purposes, so far no problems.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Do not buy , temperature measurements go off the chart sometimes, found you have “ acclimate “ the whole instrument and clamps ,,, before you try to use … sent back
