This is a good size for making smaller batches of guacamole and getting finer pieces of ground meat when frying. I even use it to smash some of my beans when making red beans and rice to get a creamer texture. The handles are comfortable and I like having two different types of mashers. It’s a good value for the price.

I hoped to use this with making sauerkraut and other ferments. I needed something small enough for the opening on my mason jars and strong enough to handle the pressure. Overall they have a nice build. I like the stainless steel. They are small in my hands, but they do fit into the mason jars. But they are too small to be highly effective. Furthermore, the one that is an "L" shape bends when I try to use it. I think these could be prefect for other use cases and I hope you dont overlook them if you had a different use case.

These work perfect for my grandsons to mash their avocados in a small bowl and put on their toast!

I prefer the wire one to the circular one as it is easier to clean, and it's not as strenuous on the wrists. The circular makes it more difficult to mash a potato, and then you have to clean out the holes to continue mashing.I actually find it easier to mash bananas with either one, for banana bread. It's less messy, and the product is easier to clean with soap and water.

Out of the box, I thought "Hmm, these are pretty small". My bad as I didn't properly scale the size in the description. However, I got these to smoosh small round potatoes after I nuke them then put into a fry pan to give an a crust which they perform perfectly for. What I realized is that both of these mashers are great for avocados and making guacamole. I have been using my wife's muddler to smoosh avocados and she doesn't like how the avocado gets into the muddlers knurls. Surprised that the description doesn't point out how well they work for guacamole. Then again, the description and photos describe ridiculousness- eg a shredded body builder (use this product and you'll become Mr Atlas?) and for "Single or Couples Use"... okay, what fun (dumb). But I'm not going to drop a star just because VOOVAO populated the advertisement department with the lowest IQ employees. What I like:+Durable design, particularly the longer masher.+304 stainless steel. It's not 316 ss but 304 is the next best grade to prevent rust. The longer masher is feels much more sturdy and is a brushed stainless steel.+Perfect for small potatoes, fruits, AND avocados! There is one concern that another reviewer pointed out- one of the mashers has small openings in the handle which can lead to microbe growth if not properly cleaned and dried. This is an unavoidable feature with many food prep utensils that proper cleaning using a couple drops of bleach will not alleviate.Recommend to add this to your kitchen utensil collection.

I know the word cute isn't what you expect with utensils but the size is adorable to me. We have some travel cookware and these are the perfect size for that. They seem well-made and have sturdy materials. They fit in the hand well and work nicely. I don't love the handle construction as I've had similar designs and water can get down in it and mold so you have to be very careful with that.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. I do tell it like it is and I am not influenced to provide feedback that isn't based on facts or my own experience. Only one of these mashers—the holed-surface one—is stainless. The wire masher is regular, guaranteed-to-rust steel. Buyer beware.
