Although I am not Buddhist, I ordered these Tibetan tingsha cymbals because I already own a Tibetan singing bowl, a Zen garden, and some books on cultivating Qi. I figured these would be perfect for moments of meditation, reflection, relaxation, and grounding. The cymbals look nice and they sound great. Very soothing tones. I was expecting a C-note on all the cymbals (just because C seemed like a reasonable expectation), but it sounds like one set rings in an A-note and the other maybe in a G. I would have never guessed the two pairs would have different tones considering their physical appearance seems identical. The interesting thing is the pairs are matched perfectly, which is nice. I think it would have bothered me to have cymbals with mismatched tones attached to one another. So, unless the perfect matching was pure luck, somewhere in the cymbal factory someone is matching tones and stringing them together.Google Translate really struggled with the characters on the cymbals. I saw "his," "bull," "yes," and "feeling," translations but not consistently. I really have no idea what any of the symbols mean.If necessary, do a search on YouTube for "tinghsha" or "Tibetan hand cymbals" for a quick introduction.I'm impressed overall and would definitely recommend these cymbals to anyone looking for an attractive, harmonically-matched set.

These really have a nice peaceful ring to them. Each set has a different tone. One is slightly higher pitched than the other. They are quality handmade and pleasing to hear.
