2" is the perfect size for basting & pastry. They are well made, no bristles lost so far! The handle is smooth and nice looking as well. If you are looking for nice brushes I would recommend!

I ordered these as I needed new pastry and basting brushes. These are nicely made with smooth wooden handles and feature boar bristles in 2 inch width. I intend to use one for marinating and basting meats, while the other will be used in pastry making. They seem to be well made as for durability, only time will tell.
