Found it easier to squeeze lemons by hand given how small of wedges I had to cut to fit the fruit into the device. It doesn't work like it's intended; it seems like the juice is intended to become trapped in the bird's belly and beak, but in my experience, all but 2 drops would get caught there. The rest of the juice squirted away from the bird. There's not a good way to orient or position the lemon wedges in the bird to have the juice collect or for the press to be effective in squeezing juice out in the first place.

The only good thing about these is that they're cute. They're super lightweight and thin and there's zero pressure when squeezing anything to be juiced so, pretty much useless in my opinion. I got a dribble of orange juice from a very juicy slice of orange and it was barely flattened leaving so much more juice left behind. Normal price is 8.99 and currently they're 11% off and available for 7.99 and that's still too much. I can't recommend.

Photos show lemon slice inside before, during, and after squeezing. This little bird is precious!! It keeps my hands clean and strains out the seeds with its little teeth!! I love it. And it came with an extra that I will definitely use when entertaining. The price is phenomenal- great quality, well put together, and highly functional. Super easy to clean. I just rinse it and let it air dry (beak down) in the strainer. The only potential negative is that it leaves around 1/3 of the slice unsqueezed. This is due to metal sides on the squeezing part that I think are there to keep the lemon in place…although it has the bird body to keep it in place so it seems these sides could be eliminated for max squeezing. Maybe I’ll see if my son has a tool to clip them.I use lemons all day in my Mt Dew, so I’m thrilled with these birds! And they are so adorable that I can leave one perched on the backsplash. If you are a lemon user, this bird’s for you 🤣🤣

I’ve seen some of these on Instagram and they look too cute! I really like experimenting with crafting cocktails and any little cute accessory is a welcome addition to my home bar. Unfortunately, these little bird citrus squeezers are not a great addition. They’re very thin and cheap and don’t really seem to squeeze much juice out of my citrus. This might be a fun gift but overall I would not recommend.

Back in my day, we had to wrestle with those bulky plastic lemon juicers that would slip and slide all over the counter, leaving us with more pulp than juice. This charming silver bird-shaped juicer brings me right back to my grandmother’s kitchen, where every squeeze felt like a little piece of magic, effortlessly extracting the bright, tangy essence of lemons and limes with a grace that only stainless steel can provide.Using this delightful tool is like rediscovering a long-lost friend; it’s both functional and whimsical, making the simple act of juicing a citrus fruit feel like a nostalgic ritual. With each squeeze, I’m reminded of sunny afternoons spent making lemonade, and I can’t help but smile knowing that this elegant little bird is now a staple in my own kitchen.

Fun way to juice a lemon/lime slice. If you want to leave your guests guessing, this is a great addition to your party table.

Cute, functional, and made of stainless steel. No seeds or pulp either. I love fresh citrus juice in my tea, especially orange. I get about a teaspoon of citrus juice from a single press. Just squeeze and pour the juice from the birds beak into your tea cup. These would make a great gift for any tea lover.

I was very excited to see this, because I needed to replace my lime and lemon juicers (the coatings were starting to peel off). However, when they arrived, they were made of very thin metal, which was a concern about how long they would actually last, especially in a drawer full of other kitchen gadgets. Then I tried to use it and things went from bad to worse. When I cut half of a lime into wedges to fit inside, it got very little juice out, even when I pressed it as far as it would go. When I looked at the wedge, it looked pristine. So I put one more in to see if it needed to be double thick. Barely got a trickle more. So I put all of the wedges in and squeezed them all the way down. Not much more and they still looked pretty healthy. So I went back to my old juicer to see how much juice was left in them. Using the juicer that I wanted to replace, the lime wedges that I had already "juiced" in this still produced 1/8 cup of juice! So I poured the other juice in to see how much there was in total: 1/4 cup! This cheap and ineffective juicer left HALF of the juice to be wasted. That's a massive fail.
