These polycotton batting strips were advertised to be 2 1/2 inches wide, however, they were only slightly more than 2 inches. Because of this I rated them only three stars. I measured them on my cutting mat and also with a quilting roller. They look to be about 2 1/8 inches wide. You could still use them to make a jelly roll rug, or a quilt-as-you-go project, but it should be noted that the width is not what is expected based on the description. They are nice and white and would be suitable under white fabrics.
