Update: The marker ink wasn't very dark to begin with but quickly faded until it was barely readable, lower my original score from 3 star to one due to the ink, the eraser is still not the best but passable.Original review:Average to mediocre pens and eraser but will get the job done and is relatively inexpensive, the pens don't mark as darkly as I would like and others I've had like this run out of ink sooner than brand names, the eraser is somewhat spongy but works ok....eraser is definitely not made as well as the ones I used in Mrs. Gibson's third grade class circa 1956. Inexpensive

Looking at the image on line I expected the pencil image to be made of a textured cardstock. The image is a light weight paper printed image glued on. The sentiment is there, just not sure of the value. The bags that you are supposed to assemble your eraser and pens do not fit the eraser and pens. I will still be adding them to my teacher appreciation gifts for the end of the year.
