The erasers I received were in excellent condition, including the nice box they were in, and the price was reasonable...if only I could use them. What I have issue with is NOWHERE IN THE DESCRIPTION WAS THE SIZE OF THE ERASER REFILLS ITSELF NOTED. Who cares about the size of the box it comes in, we need to know the size of the item we are purchasing. I have a different brand of electric eraser and these erasers LOOKED like they might fit, but they do not. I blame the seller for not providing a proper description. I am keeping the erasers because it's not worth my time sending them back and as I have several "artsie" friends who might be able to use them, I hope to find a good home for them.

It doesn’t fit my Sakura Electric eraser. I don’t know why but the erasers are too wide. I didn’t know Sakura made 2 different sizes of electric eraser.. nothing wrong with the eraser though.. seems good quality but I can’t test it out..

First off, I’d like to stress that I bought these erasers as possible refills for a 7 year old Staedtler Blue Electric Eraser that is no longer sold or produced as far as I can tell, and neither are its refills. It’s a good ol’ work horse, and I didn’t want to shell out for a new housing unit since the motor still worked fine. I bought these Sakura refills because the size seemed pretty standard when compared with other models online (again, I don’t know what the Staedtler erasers were in size, because I lack a box for them). I’m gonna start with the downsides, because I do think these deserve to end on a high note:CONSSize: both length and diameter were a little too small for my Staedtler model. This lead to the ability to push the eraser entirely into the metal sleeve while it was inside the housing unit if enough pressure was used. If you’re not careful when erasing, you could suddenly find metal sleeve grinding against your paper and tearing it. I've attached photos to show what I mean by this.Color-Resist: By this I mean the erasers ability to resist picking up color and smudging it elsewhere. For graphite/pencil it seems to work alright, but for colored pencil it would definitely probably need a nearby blank piece of paper for “cleaning” before you put the eraser down somewhere else. You can really see this on the Medium Test Page I attached with the Standard Prismacolor pencil test swatch, where it easily pushed some of the color around on the page outside the original swatch area.Alright, onto the good things:PROS:Versatility: I tested these erasers against a whole line up of the most common supplies I’d use it with (with the exception of charcoal because I didn’t want to clean up the mess in the office… plus there’s probably spiders on that box), and the results were pretty impressive.Currently I usually sketch with generic #2 pencils from the store and Prismacolor Col-Erase pencils most of the time, and for those 2 mediums, these were really good at cutting through even my hardest drawing. I also tested them against a range of graphite pencils, Prismacolor Verithin and Standard pencils, and even chalk pastels. Results varied, but considering some of the mediums, the results were still pretty impressive. I would say that standard Prismacolors are probably the worst for this eraser (picked up the most color and didn’t make a lot of difference). I’ve attached a photo to demonstrate my tests so you can see for yourself.Wear and Tear: How easily does it burn through the eraser? Well considering I was just doing a few minor tests, this is a little hard to gauge, but it seems to last fairly well. Plus, there’s 60 (ish) in the box, so for the price they seem like they’d go a long way.Cost: Again, I was originally searching for erasers based on reviews and whether it seemed like they’d fit my Staedtler, but I also didn’t want to pay a lot of money for something that might not fit. For the amount you get in the box, I think these are good for the cost.So overall, I’ll just be careful and I’ll keep the refills. They aren’t the BEST for a Staedtler eraser, and they might be better for more currently produced brands, but they’ll get the job done if you’re careful, and really don’t require a lot of pressure to the paper to use anyway.

There are seriously 60 tiny PVC erasers made of ticky-tack on the hillside--they all look the same. These are great refills for your Sakura electronic eraser. These erasers may also double as maggots if you yell maggots and then throw them at your wife--she screamed so loud.

My wife is a watercolor artist who draws her picture with light pencil to get it right before putting down any paint. To remove the pencil lines is a tedious job that can damage the paper. The electric eraser is great...fast and she can control the pressure on the paper to prevent damage. She loves it and loves me for getting it for her!

Just as I expected - a box full of erasers for my Sakura Electric eraser. They work great, and are solid enough and last for a long time. I use them on Duralar with graphite. Perfect combination. Worth every penny.

You know, you erase a lot. The only problem with electric erasers is they need refilled often. So, you might as well have a stock on hand. These erase cleanly, fit every type I've died them in, AND - The little reclosable box, that fits in your drawer, is great. TThe price seemed reasonable too.
