I haven't been fortunate enough to fill it up yet but maybe soon. The few fish I've strung on it,,it works great. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

Do not buy these. They claim all this stuff and I lost out on MONEY losing a catfishing tournament because two fish mangled their way off the stringer. The metal loops are way too weak to hold anything. I’m not talking about river monsters here. These were ok sized fish that would’ve made the difference in my tournament. This was the first time I used the stringer as well. Head my advice if you don’t want to lose your kept fish.

The whole point of a stringer is to keep fish. It failed miserably. Woke to find 4 of the 5 catfish gone. The clasps had come out somehow and were bent open. Also, i feel the chord is too thin. It's hard to get a grip on it to lift the fish. You have to wrap it around your fingers/hand. The weight of 5 catfish can add up. Might be suitable for smaller fish but i wo3ulf rather use a basket in that case. On the hunt for a better one.

The stringer as sold is of too light a construction to be useful for stringing larger fish. However, the clips are excellent. Large size, heavy duty SS wire gauge and SS spring lock too. So I used the clips from this stringer with a heavier rope from another, and ended up a nice stringer.
