Chicken Hill, the original Chicken Charm Leg Bands are great identifiers plus enjoyable to see on your feathered friends. Each Charm in the set is as unique as your bird. No 2 are the same! Most are Chicken Hill Original patented designs not found anywhere else. The bands, as we call them "Zip Bands" (Cable ties, Zip Ties) contour to poultry legs much better that a stiff round band and are inexpensive to buy for replacement. The charms can slide back and forth on the side of the leg band they are put on but, will not slide around the front or to the other side. Chicken Charm Leg Bands, bracelets, or tags are easy to put on, they don't fall off. One size fits large fowl and bantam chickens, ducks, geese, turkey, peacock, and some gamebirds. Its very easy to put on. I love the variety of colors and charms. The zips are also very durable and don't break easily, they are easy but hard to cut (if thay makes sense) They are very good and perform well, it helps me identify the chickens better and are very stable on their legs if you put them on well.

I like it love the colors but the price.. good have been a little cheaper. Could have went and got 100 zip ties for the price of 20

It’s sort of difficult to actually identify the emblems on my pullets legs- BUT, the fact that there are so many different color wire ties- I use the colors to first identify my chickens. It’s a bit gimmicky but it’s cute. The kids will love it. Just remember to monitor keep the band loose.

What a cool product - easy to put on the hen, bright colors.Okay, so my kids can tell the chickens apart, but I couldn't. They're brown hens. Adorable, but they all look too similar to me. We needed a way to identify them and I needed something with at least 8 different colors. All the other bands had very few colors. These had multiple colors and a little bling. Yay!One of our chickens had to go to the vet's office after a hawk attack. The vet called to say they got a kick out of Supergirl's bling - she had the band with the Supergirl symbol.

The charms are cute. Basically they are zip ties with charms on it. It helps to identify my chickens! You must be careful not to put them on too tightly and wait till they are full grown because a friend of mine put them on when his chicks were young and one of the chick had ge band grown into its leg. Other than user error...they are greatz

These are so darn cute! They have helped me tell my hatchlings-turned-hens apart very well. After about 5 minutes with them on, they ignored them. I was concerned that they'd peck at them - especially at each other's, but they didn't. The bands will spin around with the charms and won't face out all the time unless you make them tight. DON'T DO THAT! I had to cut one off a hen. It didn't hurt her, but she began to outgrow it since hers was on tighter than the other girls'. Getting it off her was a little tricky and I was worried she'd get cut, but with patience and care, it came off and she wasn't hurt. There are plenty of bands and charms in the package for any regulated backyard flock and they're more practical than those cute chicken sweaters! These are fun, adorable, and helpful and I'm glad I purchased them.

As first time chicken keepers, we really wanted to get to know our chickens. But whilst they all have different shapes combs, I found it too hard to identify them all especially as they are all the same breed (gorgeous Welsummers). So when I came across these, I had to have them. Yes, you could just use zip ties but where is the fun in that?!?!I was really worried that the chickens who always peck at my gold wedding ring would peck each other but actually they haven't even looked twice at each other's leg charms. I absolutely adore the different charms (superman, heart, butterfly, flower etc) and coupled with a different colored leg charm it's become so easy to identify each one of them. It has proven to be very useful when we wanted to keep an eye on one chicken or identify the noisy one!! We have made sure that they can easily move up and down the leg so not to restrict them.As you can see from the photos, the girls look absolutely fab in their charms! We had one chicken who had damaged their leg from jumping down too far from a perch so we removed it which was very easy to do.Would I buy them again, YES! They would be a great fun present for any chicken lover and it's such a reasonable price.
