Doesn't blow as much air as suggested by other reviews.

It's very powerful, great air flow, looks nice, easy to install, works great even after several severe storms (it got drenched for hours) this is one tough fan.

We have used the heck out of this fan this summer. Initially got it to keep my dog cool when he's of a mind to lounge on the porch while I work to the bone lol. I put it right behind my favorite hammock chair that you can find me in several times a day. This fan really helped cool me down on those triple digit days when, I was getting too hot in the garden or mowing the grass. I would take a break in my chair & turn the fan on high. Initially but took his a bit to get the dog used to is because it is loud but, then he figured out that it was cooling him down and just got over it.It was super easy to assemble and Fairly easy to mount. Definitely feels secure once mounted. You can turn the oscillator off and adjust it to the direction you want it.

I am very happy with this fan. We put it up in our shop building the remote does not have a huge amount of range but it has enough and I really wont lose the remote this way I had it on the wall under the fan. Noise level I cant say since it doesnt matter since the shop is loud anyway. But overall it pushes quite a bit of air and I am very pleased.

We got this to install on the side of our house for outback where our temperatures average during the summer a 115°. I was expecting a fan nothing over the top but when we install this and turn it on this thing is an absolute beast. The power behind this is incredible and it feels so good outback while we are grilling or just hanging out. I also love that it is weatherproof and it can withstand the outdoor heat and weather. Putting it together was somewhat tricky only because of trying to get it at a certain angle and only one wrench was given where you need it too to be able to tighten the bolts. But overall I ended up getting it nice and tight and hoped that this last for a long time because I am in love with this fan.

I actually like the low-level white noise generated by the fan, as I find it very relaxing. There's no annoying vibration or undesirable hum with the fan's operation.I like the chain-operated, "Low, Medium, High" functions. However, I keep the unit connected to a remote- controlled powered outlet, which not only allows me to have more convenient control over the fan, but will also ensure less wear and tear on the pull-chain actuator.The large size of the fan's blades, along with the on/off oscillating function, provides for full coverage of my entire downstairs workout room. Even though I have central air conditioning, the fan makes a huge improvement with keeping the air moving, making for a much more comfortable workout. Both, my weightlifting, and my treadmill workouts are much more pleasant with my having control over the air movement in the living space.What I don't like:I ordered the fan, fully aware that the fan is promoted as more of an outdoor fan, rather than an indoor fan. However, it's also touted as being suitable for indoors, as well, and it is quite suitable for indoor use. That being said, the little metal mounting plate has pre-drilled holes in it, which are not appropriately-spaced for mounting unit directly into one stud, as the holes are too close together for mounting into two separate studs, and too far apart for mounting into a single stud. I presume that since the unit is designed more for outdoor use, the maker likely anticipated that most people would be mounting the unit outside to a concrete wall or exterior of a home or other structure. Because of this, the mounting plate screw holes are not spaced appropriately for my intended mounting plans.According to some research I did, because the fan is not excessively heavy, it was fine to run one screw/bolt directly into the wall stud, and the other into the 100+ year-old, plastered wall, using a heavy-duty wall anchor. This way, the majority of the load is being supported by the stud and the heavy-duty wall anchoring point is mainly helping to stabilize the unit to the wall. Do your own research, but I have decades of experience with installing such products and I've very comfortable with this mounting method, since I made certain that the screw/bolt that's driven directly into the stud is, in fact, dead-center of the stud, and not near an edge along the stud.Lastly, even though I am very impressed with the fan's build and the quality motor, I am a concerned about the longevity of the moving parts that rotate around during the oscillation function. There are some plastic parts incorporated into the moving mechanism (albeit, the main moving part is made of metal). I will say, however, that it's good that those moving parts are located on the outside of the motor housing; that way, should any of those exterior parts fail over time, I'll be able to easily perform any needed repairs to those moving parts, as it's a very straightforward and simple design.So far, I am totally satisfied with this item and I am sure that I'd order it again. It's only my personal opinion, but I feel that a product of this sort should provide me daily use for a minimum of three years. I feel very confident that this unit will likely easily exceed such service life. Only time will tell.

Okay maybe I’m just not smart enough to put this stupid thing on the way but it is NOT simple to mount like the description claims. I have been messing with this thing for about 4 hours and have taken it apart and reconfigured the parts numerous times and only after it’s all tightened and ready to hang do I realize it’s not correct and I have to take it all apart again and try something different because there is NOT ANY INSTRUCTIONS. if your item has any assembly required at all you need to include instructions. Period. There should never be any assumptions that the customer will understand how to put together even simple screws and bolts and I have not gotten it to work yet. I’m incredibly frustrated and this is just making me want to return the thing it’s just not worth the trouble it’s taken to try to get it hung
