This is an excellent product that provides a clean, professional finish for cable railing. As a beginner, I did need to purchase a crimping tool, but once I had that, the installation was straightforward and easy to manage. These are the same general weight and size as others I have bought from what seem to be more broadly available brands. The finish appears good, and while I can't verify they are T316, I will accept that in faith, so I assume they will be durable and last well over time. Given the similar size and material, they will be just as easy to install as my other sets were.The threads seem fine, but there is a bit of play between the receiver part and the part you crimp the cable into. I'm unsure why, and the other sets I've gotten don't have that play. For that, which is admittedly of uncertain importance, I'm only giving these four stars out of five. Initially, they should function fine, but I don't know how the wiggle will play out for long-term functionality.

I used these for a 2x2 trellis post. Made with good materials. It looks like its coated for rust proof. Overall a well made item and worth the purchase.

I've worked a lot with cable railing, both with actual railing and for building for strength and lighter weights like the weaved cable I used to create the base of my camper's bunk beds. These swage tensioners are my favorite method of connecting wire using my hydraulic crimpers. The black is a great match to my black fixtures.

I am in the middle of repairing my deck. It had a lot of rot and we didn't like the vertical balusters that were on it. We were looking to use the cable invisible fence so we had better vision, but by the time we got around to doing the railing we had changed our mind and went with ripped down 5/4 boards horizontally.This set is nice though and I will use it in the future when I create a separate area in the back yard. These fittings do require a swaging tool, which I don't have, but the design is really nice. The wire goes into the smooth part and you swage the cable in place. They the end screws onto the hidden ring end. The hex wrench is provided and turns the head without twisting the cable to get the tensions correct.
